PILOT COVE

Pilot Cove places 20 private cabins on a wooded hillside at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. Each cabin has a full kitchen with dishwasher, a washer and dryer, and a balcony or deck with mountain and forest views. One-bedroom cabins include a living room, a sofa bed, and a mudroom-style entry with hooks for gear.

Bicycle rentals are available through Pilot Cove, and The Hub bike shop sits at the base of the hill for repairs. The property includes an amphitheater that has hosted wedding receptions and a 2-mile on-site hiking trail. Free private parking, an overflow parking lot, and a terrace are available to guests.

Pilot Cove sits at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, less than 15 minutes from the Looking Glass Rock trailhead. Downtown Brevard is 3 miles away, Asheville Regional Airport is 24 km from the property, Biltmore Estate is 48 km away, and Caesars Head State Park is 30 km away. The Hub bike shop and Velvet Cup coffee truck sit at the base of the hill, and Ecusta Brewing is a short drive away.

Pilot Cove allows pets in designated cabins and provides a dog waste station near the driveway. The pet-friendly one-bedroom cabin has a mudroom entrance, a large deck, and a full kitchen. Family rooms include air conditioning, a separate bedroom, a sofa bed, and a full kitchen.

Some mountain biking trailheads are right on the edge of the property, and connector trails lead into Pisgah National Forest. Guests can use bicycle rentals to reach those trails and then wash gear in the cabin's washer and dryer. The Hub at the base of the hill fixes flat tires while guests wait.
